I am Nastya, a multidisciplinary artist based in Barcelona, weaving fragments of the past into tangible, evocative forms.
My ceramics reflect a deep connection to analog nostalgia—cassette tapes, childhood photographs,
clay imprinted with fingerprints, and vintage phones.
Each piece is handmade, unique in its shape and color, crafted to evoke personal stories and memories.

When I was a little girl, my mother would switch off the lights in my room when it was time for bed. But the rug hanging above my bed remained lit by a beam of light from the corridor. Every night, I would stare at that rug, and the patterns on it began to transform. The deer dissolved into curved lines, their legs became rooftops, their antlers turned into tree roots.
In my sculptures, I revisit these childhood memories—the way light refracted shapes and stories, turning the familiar into the extraordinary. Each piece captures that sense of wonder and transformation, inviting you to see the world through a child’s eyes once again.

04. Heads
When I meet someone new, the first thing I notice is their face. I study its parts—big eyes and a small nose, or full lips and a broad forehead. I search for the most expressive feature, the one that defines them, so I can mentally assemble their face and remember it.
These sculptures are my memories of faces—fragmented, reimagined, and preserved in clay. Each piece captures not just physical features, but the fleeting impressions they leave behind.I want this piece
